New Releases, VR Updates, and Promotions: What’s New on PlayStation This Week
Are you ready for some big news about what’s happening on PlayStation this week? It’s time to get excited because there’s a lot going on! New Releases:

- Gran Turismo 7 – This racing game lets you experience the thrill of racing with full head control. You’ll get to drive detailed car recreations, and the PSVR 2 update is available for free on February 22nd.
- Resident Evil Village VR Mode – This mode puts you in control of Ethan Winters and gives you full control over both of his hands with the Sense controllers. You’ll descend into House Beneviento in VR and face the horrors within. The Resident Evil Village VR mode update is coming out on February 22nd.
- Like a Dragon Eshin – This game is set in 19th-century Kyoto and has a historic twist on the Yakuza series. You’ll still fight bad guys, but this time you’ll use a samurai sword. Like a Dragon Eshin is available on PS4 and PS5 and releases today.
- Octopath Traveler 2 – This role-playing game has eight different stories, each about a different hero. As you play through each story, you’ll learn how they’re all connected, and eventually, they’ll come together to fight a big, bad enemy. Octopath Traveler 2 is coming out on February 24th.

This week, PlayStation is releasing a brand new VR headset called PlayStation VR2. And to make it even more exciting, three new games are getting VR updates too! Let’s take a look:
- Horizon Call of the Mountain – This game is getting a VR experience, which means you’ll be able to play it in virtual reality. This means that you’ll feel like you’re actually in the post-apocalyptic world, exploring the Carja Sundom and doing things like shooting birds with your bow, climbing cliffs, and playing on the panpipes.
